3D Drainage Geomat

3D Drainage Geomat is a three dimensional synthetic erosion control mat. It prevents the erosion caused by rain, wind, hydraulic action or revegetation of soil slopes.

It can replace the slope materials such as concrete, bitumen and stone. Its 90% voids can be filled with soil or plant roots, combining soil and geomat firmly together to protect the slope.

Erosion Control

The three dimensional entangled mesh of the 3D geomat is made up of heat-tangled and fused polyethylene filaments. The strands are loosely spaced, which allows plants to grow through the geomat, and they also imitate the role of plant roots to bind soil particles together. This prevents the loosened soil from being washed away by rain or running water.

This drainage mat is also a good choice for protecting slopes, especially those that will be exposed to sunlight and wind. It can be used as an alternative to more expensive materials, such as block stone or concrete. Its high tensile and shear strength make it able to withstand strong pressure.
